Joy to His Heart

I looked at my son playing on the computer. I looked at my daughter patting the dog on the head.

I mused, "Did they ever know how much I care and love them?"

If ever they come to me and thank me.....

......

I wonder if our Father feels the same way about us? Most times we go to the Father because we want more wealth or healing. Either that or it is corporate worship where the ambience, music, atmosphere plays a large part of interaction with Him.

BUT have we ever go to Him, in the simplicity of our hearts, in the quietness of our soul and whisper, "thank you for loving me".

Will that ever caught our omniscience, omnipresent, omnipotent Father by surprise and bring tears of joy into His eyes?

It is theologically correct to say, "He will know it even before we do it."

But I believe that our thanks will bring laughter to His heart.
