Gifts to Others

I believe that christians wants to be in a close relationship with the Father. They seek His embrace, His closeness. When He calls, they come running. Because they simply love being with Him.

Is this a politically correct thing to say? Oftentimes I remember certain situations where I rather avoid Him. Because I am not sure if I am holy, acceptable enough to come to Him.

Yet I know I love the feeling I get when I am with Him.

.....

There are many in this world who had lost sight of Him and ceased to hear His voice.

It may be that their ambitions have a louder voice. But it may well be that their issues occupy their minds. Inner struggles, pain inflicted by others, injustice done to them, diseases, illnesses, grief or loss, no money to see doctor or dentist, seeing others eat in restaurants whilst they struggle by on one meal.

My colleague told me that during the currency crisis in South East Asia in the 1990s the rich eat lavishly in restaurants, taking a sip here and discarding the rest whilst the waiters who waited on them see their salaries reduced by 50%. Riots resulted from the economic crisis.

.....

Whatever the reasons, they had lost hearing their Master's Voice.

.....

It is therefore the intention of The Father's Gift that we spent some time to help our brothers and sisters in Christ to regain joy in their lives.

Help with WHAT?

With words of encouragement. With listening ears and caring hearts.

Money would be preferable. Unfortunately money is scarce and the internet is rife with confidence tricksters. Please advise those who approached you for money to go to their home church to jointly work on a solution.

Here, we listen.

Where appropriate, we give a word of knowledge.

And we lead them to say these simple words, "Thank you Father. Please lead me out of this mess."

And help them to trust.

Until their thanks become heartfelt and they become aware of the Father's intervention.

Bringing Light into their darkness.
